I remember seeing the hair dryer move on twitter and going 'whoa!' Once you see it you start seeing it in places nobody's calling prediction markets. The agency awards circuit runs on it. Work is made backwards from the case study you'll eventually submit, the case study made to score on what the jury cares about.

The version about to matter most is AI training. Training data is the derivative market on human creative output, so you get incentive to make output either maximally legible to the model (slop) or deliberately illegible to it (authored, certified). The "AI-free" certification economy is a defense against that.

The terminal state isn't unique to Polymarket, it's just earliest there.
