I haven’t really kept up with animated films lately but whenever I periodically check in, as I did last week by watching Pixar’s latest, Soul, I’m once again stunned by how much better they keep getting (the same is true whenever I interrupt my 20-year hiatus from video games).
I don’t know. There’s a lot of tech/culture industry backlash aimed at Musk right now because he’s starting to live the myth of himself and becoming much more Lex Luthor than Tony Stark... and some of his recent business moves seem to align with that.
Yeah for sure. It's interesting how despite all of that, there's so many people who still love him, I guess just because he's an exciting figure. Again the contrast with Bezos fascinates me - there's definitely been a growing (and deserved) backlash against him but I feel like the praise is also more restrained, just because he doesn't capture people's imaginations the way Musk does.
